The issue has been identified as caused by and within the external public name resolution service. There has been no occurrence of DNS resolution failures registered for the last 8 hours. The operations team continues monitoring the issue.

The VC Ops team will be performing high priority maintenance to Teams CVI gateway services.
We anticipate that most users who are in ongoing or new calls using SIP and WebRTC during the maintenance period will not be affected.
However, it could be possible that callers using H.323 or Skype for Business a new call might not connect for a few minutes as the changes are deployed to each specific region.
